Life In Rothwell Heights
When you buy in Rothwell Heights, you are not just buying a home - you are buying a lifestyle!

Rothwell Heights is an established family neighbourhood of exclusive homes in a picturesque parkland setting just minutes to downtown. Recreational activities are right on your doorstep. Walk in almost any direction along the tree-lined streets and you'll hit parkland, the Ottawa River path, woods and tennis courts. Walkers, joggers, and cyclists are everywhere and, in the winter, they turn to the outdoor rinks, toboggan hills and cross-country trails. Your children can take advantage of the many activities such as little league baseball, soccer, football, gymnastics, figure skating, ringette, scouts and guides in the area. Enjoy boating from the public boat launch at the end of Massey Lane. There is also an active community organization for residents of all ages. The welcoming and friendly nature of the residents gives the area a true village like atmosphere.

Local schools offer excellent choice in English and French, from the nursery school level right up to high school. Colonel By Secondary School attracts students from all over Ottawa who are clamoring to get into the only International Baccalaureate Program available at a public school in Eastern Ontario. Gloucester and Lester B. Pearson High Schools are known for their high-tech and gifted programs.

The closeness of hospitals, large shopping facilities (St. Laurent Shopping Centre, Gloucester Centre) movie theatres, numerous restaurants and well-known grocery stores and easy access to downtown are major benefits. Doctors, Dentists and the best in medical facilities are at your doorstep.
